It's Official the once Yearbook Editor is now the Yearbook Adviser

It is official. I'm now the proud adviser of over 20 eager students who in the course of the next 8 months will create a 56-page full-color yearbook. I'm pretty sure that I have bitten off far more than I will want to chew but I have a passion for yearbooks (i'm weird) and the kids are just so darn excited about the whole thing! This will be the first year that Walden School has a "real" yearbook. We have the challenge of creating something meaningful for 275 students Kindergarten through 12th grade. I have already vetoed some less than stellar ideas (bubble theme?) but I have been amazed at the creativity my students have shown already in their attempts to come up with a theme and book cover. I can't wait to see what they come up with!
The nerd rises again! I can't wait to see the ideas the kids come up with. Way to use your veto power :). I'm impressed that it's going to appeal to 5 year-olds and 18 year-olds. But, if anyone can do it, it's you and the Walden kids. I believe in you Sherni! :^)
You were a fantastic editor and you will be a fantastic advisor. Way to go!
