Adoption

Dear Friends and Family,

We feel like it is time we update our friends and family concerning our adoption situation. We are still working with LDS Family Services and our profile has been shown to prospective Birth Parents several times. We have also explored other options—Utah State DCFS and international adoption. Due to health conditions that Eric and I are both medicated for, we do not qualify for the majority of international programs. We are still open to a child in state custody should the right child come along. We appreciate all the care and concern we have received from friends and family and feel confident that the Lord has plans we just don’t know about yet!
Should you come into contact with a potential birth parent or become aware of a potential please feel free to contact us. Feel free to give out our phone number, email addresses etc. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions! The following is the web address where you can access our profile with LDS Family Services:

then search for the profile: EricandSharon

Love,

Eric, Sharon & Cedar

Sharon,

I have several friends who are going through the adoption process right now. I see how trying it can be. You are a wonderful mother and I know you will be blessed with a baby who is just perfect to join your family. I will keep my ears open for anyone.

I can't remember who told me that you guys were interested in adopting.....that is awesome. Cedar will be a great older brother. I wish you guys luck - we're thinking about adopting too, but for now, we will let you know if we hear anything.
